“ A popular place for good quality, tasty, well presented food. Ideal if you have gluten-free, vegetarian requirements as very helpful and accommodating. We chose the specials today with a lovely hot chocolate and an English breakfast tea. My gluten-free friend chose the special...'Crushed Minted Pea and Poached Egg on Sourdough Bread. I chose the 'Shakfhouka': spicy tomatoe & peppers with poached egg, served in a bowl with a nan bread. They were both delicious. It was lovely, flavoursome, and a nice change for me to have a vegetarian dish. For dessert, my friend had a slice of the 'Naughty Chocolate Cake (gluten-free)', and l had the 'Lemon & Blueberry Cake'. I would highly recommend Evoke as a lovely place to eat quality, tasty, freshly prepared food. ”

“ Lovely little cafe, a busy spot but for good reason! We were acknowledged within a minute of entering, and originally placed on the high seated table. A member of staff came over shortly after to ask if we would like to swap to a table with lower seats, as we struggled a bit to get on the higher seats. Coffee was good, food was fresh and staff were friendly! ”

There is a wonderful covered courtyard area out back, that is lovely to sit out in all seasons and a sectioned off seated area at the front which is lovely to make use of during milder weather. The staff are all wonderful, even when you dash in five minutes before the kitchen closes of Christmas Eve desperately wanting/needing your favourite tuna, cheese melt panini Their cakes are homemade and simply to die for Twinkle lights adorn the place and I love the quirky phrases in the form of pictures etc. just a wonderful place to eat with friends or alone and watch the world go by for awhile! ”

“ We came to Evoke for the quiz night and had an absolutely wonderful time. Came dead last but had such a laugh. We will definitely be coming again if you do it again. We had the 3 plates of food for 12 and the whole lot was demolished, very enjoyable, great value for money. would definitely recommend. We also had a range of drinks from alcoholic, frappes and ofc coffees (cause some of us were driving) all very lovely and again all good value for money. Thank you to all of the staff that were working last night, with special mentions to Ann marie, Tess and Nikki who all did a fantastic job in making the evening run so smoothly I.m.o. ”
“ I booked the night before via FB and they reserved a table for me for the next day :) I had eggs royal and my other half had eggs benedict and the food was great. Drink were good, I had an iced vanilla Latte that's was delicious! Overall lovely coffee shop, I've been here a few times now and I've never been disappointed. Lots of cake choices if you fancy a cake and a coffee. Also serve alcohol ”
